Ops Pain

AI as the Source of Truth

Sick of having to always have 7 different browser tabs open and searching through emails to find a vital piece of information? Here's how AI can help.

One thing I keep noticing inside ops-heavy teams:

People aren’t short on information.

They’re drowning in it.

The reality looks like this:

• 7 tabs open

• systems that don’t talk

• constant context switching

• “the answer” living in someone’s head or inbox

Even well-run companies end up with no real single source of truth — just lots of places to look.

What’s interesting is that this isn’t a process problem. It’s an information problem.

This is one of the few places where AI consistently delivers real value.

Not as a shiny tool.

Not as a replacement for discipline.

But as a way to surface the right information, at the right moment, without asking someone to go hunting for it.

When teams stop switching contexts all day, execution is the natural outcome — without changing the underlying process.
